Terms of Service

Educado is a service operated by Shivam Rana Digital Solution LLP ("Educado", "we", "us", or "our"), a limited liability partnership registered in India.
These terms cover your use of Educado. They are meant to be read, so they are shorter and plainer than they could be. Where something matters — particularly what we do and do not promise about generated content — we have said it directly rather than burying it.
By creating an account you agree to them.
What Educado is
Educado generates courses. You tell it what you want to learn, it asks you a few questions, and it writes a course for you specifically — outline first, then each chapter as you reach it.
That is different from a catalogue of pre-recorded material, and the difference matters for what follows: nobody has read your course before you do. It is produced for you, at the moment you ask for it, by a language model.
Your account
You need an account to use Educado. Signing in works by a code emailed to you, or with your Google account — so keep both secure. Anyone who can read your email, or who is signed in to your Google account, can sign in as you.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Educado. By creating an account you confirm that you are.
One account per person. Do not share it, and tell us promptly if you think someone else is using it.
Educado is currently in early access. Some features are limited to specific accounts, and things may change or break with little notice.
Generated content, and what we do not promise
This is the part worth reading twice.
Course material is generated automatically. It can be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong, and it can be wrong while sounding confident, because that is how language models fail. We work at making it good. We do not guarantee that it is accurate.
So:
- Do not rely on Educado for professional advice. Nothing it generates is medical, legal, financial or safety advice, whatever the subject you asked about and however authoritative it sounds.
- Verify anything consequential against a primary source before acting on it.
- It is not a qualification. Finishing a course certifies nothing and we issue no accredited credential.
If you find something wrong, tell us. That is genuinely useful and it is how the prompts get better.
What you may not do
Do not use Educado to generate material that is illegal, or that is intended to harm people. Do not try to extract our prompts, break our rate limits, access other people's accounts or data, scrape the service, or resell generated courses as your own product.
Do not submit other people's personal information as a learning goal or in an interview answer.
We may suspend an account that does these things.
Fair use of generation
Generating a course costs us real money each time, so any allowance we describe — including anything described as unlimited — means normal personal learning use, and is subject to guardrails that exist to keep the service running rather than to ration ordinary use.
We may rate-limit, throttle, suspend or otherwise manage usage that looks automated, shared or resold, deliberately structured to bypass limits, or high-volume enough to degrade the service for other people. The model providers we depend on also have their own capacity limits, which can change without our involvement.
Who owns what
Your input is yours. The goals you type, your interview answers and your profile belong to you. We use them to generate your courses and to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Course material generated for you is yours to use — read it, keep it, print it, learn from it. We do not claim ownership of it. Note that material generated for two people who asked similar things may be similar, and that in many jurisdictions purely machine-generated text may not attract copyright at all; we cannot grant you rights that do not exist.
Educado itself is ours — the software, the design, the prompts, the name and the mark. Nothing here transfers any of that to you.
Availability
We aim to keep Educado running and we do not promise any particular uptime. Generation depends on a third-party model provider, so it can fail or slow down for reasons outside our control. Course generation may fail; when it does, you can retry it.
We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give account holders reasonable notice and an opportunity to export what they have.
Educado depends on third-party providers for hosting, email delivery and model inference. We are not responsible for failures, interruptions or changes caused by those providers, and your use of any third-party service reached through Educado is subject to that provider's own terms.
Payment
Educado is free during early access. If we introduce paid plans we will say so clearly before charging anyone, and the terms of any plan — price, renewal, cancellation and refunds — will be presented at the point of purchase.

Ending it
You may stop using Educado at any time, and you may ask us to delete your account and its data — see the Privacy Policy for how.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we stop operating the service. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first.
Liability
Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot legally be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any mandatory right you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:
Educado is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, for lost profits or revenue, or for loss of data, use or goodwill, arising from:
- your use of, or inability to use, Educado;
- any interruption, suspension or discontinuation of the service;
- any error, omission or inaccuracy in generated course material, or any loss or damage from acting on it;
- unauthorised access to our systems or your data, despite the measures described in our Privacy Policy.
And our total liability to you, across all claims, is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or fifty US dollars (US $50).
No claim may be brought more than twelve months after the event that gave rise to it.
If you use Educado for work rather than personally, you accept these limits on behalf of your organisation.
Backups and data loss
We keep backups and we take care with your data, but no system is perfect. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for loss, deletion or corruption of data, and you are responsible for keeping your own copy of anything you would be upset to lose.
Indemnity
You agree to cover us — including reasonable legal costs — against claims brought by someone else arising from your use of Educado, your breach of these terms, your infringement of anyone's rights, or content you submitted.
Things outside our control
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including acts of God, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, government action, industrial disputes, internet or telecommunications failures, and the failure or withdrawal of third-party providers or infrastructure we depend on, including the model providers that generate course content.
Transfer
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may assign or transfer ours — including in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation or sale of assets — without yours.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the country where you live, including your right to approach the consumer forums available to you.
If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at shivam@tryeducado.app. Most things are resolved that way, and we would rather fix a problem than argue about one.
If it is not resolved within 30 days, it will be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue is Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and proceedings are in English. Either party may still ask a court for injunctive relief.
This does not take away your rights as a consumer. If you are a consumer, you keep every remedy available to you under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 — including approaching the consumer commissions — and nothing in this section requires you to arbitrate instead.
Severability
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, that part is narrowed or removed to the minimum extent necessary and everything else stays in force.
The whole agreement
These terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Educado about your use of the service, and replace anything said before.
If we do not enforce something straight away, that is not a waiver of it. A waiver only counts if we put it in writing.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell account holders by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and update the date at the top. Continuing to use Educado after that means you accept the new version; if you do not, you can stop using it and ask us to delete your account.
